Managing director Cole Smillie is the friendly and professional face of Eloc Masonry. Being a great believer in building good relationships with clients and colleagues, Cole and his team are committed to providing quality services. We are able to provide solutions for the most challenging projects anywhere in Taranaki and wider Central North Island.

Eloc Masonry can complete all your projects from large commercial to residential and landscaping contracts, We supply complete packages or ‘pick and mix’ solutions to meet your requirements. Ranging from Supply, Lay & Fill for blockwork, Supply & Lay, Labour Only, Labour Supply with or without scaffolding and Source and Supply Only.
Supporting your project from start to finish, we are able to provide advice during the feasibility and pre-construction phases, design aspects, and tender. We have in house draughting and design facilities available, and can consult on building methodology and design aspects.
Eloc Masonry is committed to a safe working environment and is a member of Site Safe. We are also assessed by Site Wise yearly and currently holds a valid Green Safety Certificate. All employees also have a current up-to-date SiteSafe passport.

We are equipped with a vast array of equipment and machinery to ensure we can undertake your job fast, efficiently and on budget.
Your Brick and Block Laying Specialists
We have four fully equipped units on the road covering the wider Taranaki region. We have our own transport setup with a flat deck truck and Hiab combination capable of carrying 8 pallets of blocks per load. This truck also carts our 5 tons of scaffolding between various sites throughout Taranaki.
Our skidsteer is tracked making it very useful on difficult terrain and limited access sites. Our earthmoving equipment is suitable for foundation excavation and landscaping works as well as general earthmoving projects.
All our vehicles are equipped with quality tools to get the jobs done professionally and on time. We use a full range of wet cutting equipment from large block table saws, brick saws to water fed angle grinders along with a range of dry cutting equipment & hydraulic cutting and bending tools for reinforcing steel.
We currently have 9 staff and contractors working with us. We are big enough to handle large scale commercial projects and can also split into smaller teams to handle a number of jobs at any time. We have guys with the skills and knowledge available to cover remedial and repair work which other companies will often turn away.
